Anyone having trouble with Gatehub Eth Deposits or other coins?
I bought a little Eth at Coinbase, looked on reddit and YouTube for some recommendations for a Ripple wallet as wanted to buy and then sell for anticipated quick profit after 3 days.
Some Reddits sub forums said Gatehub they use for Ripple wallet and on Youtube some lessons on how to use Gatehub ( several attempts by the Youtuber to open a Gatehub wallet before approval which made me a bit wary of Gatehub).
Took the plunge and attempted too open a Gatehub account and after 6 attempts at clicking on the various buttons I opened an account and a wallet,
then got the Gatehub Eth Address to send the Eth from Coinbase to Gatehub:
I get a message from Coinbase to say:
You just sent
0.xxxxxxx ETH
Congratulations! You have successfully sent 0.xxxxxxx ETH (worth £xxxxxxxxxxx GBP) to 0x0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx using Coinbase. To facilitate this transaction, you paid 0.00046746 ETH (worth £0.34 GBP) in network fees.
I check the address and it is correct.
I wait 2 hours as network is busy and then check that Gatehub received it but nothing in wallet and then start getting emails from Gatehub to Missing ETH trustline We can not process your deposit because of a missing trustline on your ripple wallet.
Your ripple wallet rZ......................................... must trust for ETH.
Once you have enabled ETH it may take a few hours to process your deposit.
Set trustline
So i click the button nothing happens "error message"
I check the wallet info/help:
I check and see ripple wallet and hosted wallet can receive Eth.
I check and see id verification and then see after my attempts that id not verified.
So i cant find my Eth and open a ticket and have received no reply 3 days later just an auto generated email:

then I get this:

Now comes the 3 hours attempting to locate my Eth in the Gatehub wallet:
I sent the Eth from Coinbase to my Eth acct at Gatehub the get a message:
Missing ETH trustline
We can not process your deposit because of a missing trustline on your ripple wallet.
Your ripple wallet rZ......................................... must trust for ETH.
Once you have enabled ETH it may take a few hours to process your deposit.
Set trustline
So i click the button
same message comes into my gmail account

I try again and hit the Set trustline button
i get the same automated email message sent to my gmail account
i contacted Gatehub "customer service" fill in the form and send it to them:
i get auto message

I wait several hours and no email so I try again to "Set trustline"

i then try and contact customer services again on their online form and get an automated message again:

I then try 4 x to set the geth trust line this happens 4 more times over 24 hours and Gatehub do not appear to have a "customer service" to speak of.
Have read the faq etc and tried various things but still get an error message when trying to set trust line so i am thinking of running a week long course on how to use the Gatehub Wallet as that is one hell of a difficult wallet to understand and learn....
so i guess my Eth has gone for good, shortly after this I see a warning on Twitter from My Ether Wallet that some wallet providers are keeping Eth that is sent to certain wallet providers.
have found a bit of info see below about slow transactions of Eth on Gatehub (other wallets take about 60 seconds) but as it has been over 3 days i dont think i will be seeing the Eth ever ething again!
