Hoy 28 de junio se lleva a cabo la celebración del Día del Orgullo gay por parte de la comunidad LGTB. El origen de este día es fuerte, se remonta a 1969 cuando se generó algunos disturbios en Nueva York, que dio inicio a una lucha por los derechos. La policía hizo una redada que molestó al colectivo gay.
Barack Obama durante su presidencia declaró el Stonewall Inn como monumento nacional, dicho lugar rememora la historia de la lucha de la LGBT por los derechos.
En el año 1970 se llevaron a cabo las primeras marchas en Nueva York y en Los Ángeles. Poco a poco han sido muchas las ciudades del mundo que se han unido para pedir por los derechos de la comunida LGBT.
Tengo grandes amigos que pertenecen a esta comunidad así que celebro por ellos, porque lo realmente importante es el amor y la felicidad
