Her eyes were blood red as the smell of death filled the air. She wasn’t alone, she could sense it.
“There’s no use in hiding.” She announced menacingly, as she slowly began to walk toward them. “Marco!” She mocked. “Very well, don’t play along.”
Each step echoed as her heels hit the ground. “I smell you.” She laughed. “Boo!” She yelled as she appeared behind the terrified teenage boys.
Their lugs erupted with a scream before she silenced them with her teeth piercing throng one’s neck, as the other passed out. She glanced down at the one now laying at the round, her mouth now coated in fresh blood.
“Well your no fun.” She pouted, as she bent down, letting go of her finished meal causing him to fall beside his friend.
Like he weighed absolutely nothing, she lifted him high enough to get to his neck and sunk her teeth in. before long she was done with the both of them. Her blood shot eyes turned back to its usual sliver blue and her fangs that had still been dripping, began to retract.
“Now, to find out who trapped me her.” She said as she wiped her mouth clean.
As she left the large abandons building, she walked out onto a large fisher’s dock. The smell of salt water and fish filled the air. The docks were still empty and the sun was only just peaking gout of the horizon. She knew she couldn’t stay long if she didn’t want her skin to begin boiling and blistering. Her only option was to seek shelter until night fall. She knew of a place nearby and made her way there as fast as possible. Once she was there she began vigorously pressing the buzzer for apartment 14B.
After a few minutes a sleepy voice answered. “Hello.”
“It’s me. Open up.” She replied franticly.
“Me who?” He asked still half asleep.
“Your sister dumb ass. Open up.”
The door buzzed open and she was in. she headed up the stairs and down the hall to the very last apartment. The door already stood open with a shocked young man standing in the doorway.
“You seem surprised to see me.” She said as she pushed him aside to get in. Once in she rushed to the curations and pulled them shut.
“I am. Your supposed to be dead.” He closed the door behind him.
“Well clearly I’m not.”
“How’s that possible?”
“It could be because of this.” Her eyes once again went red and her mouth opened slightly to reveal to razor sharp teeth.
“What!” He yelled out in shock and slight fell backwards, but caught himself before falling.
“Don’t ask me how it happened because I don’t know.” Her face turned back to normal and she sat down.
He sat down opposite her, blankly staring in her direction.
“I need your help to find out what happened.” She continued. “Zack” She added to pull him out of his trance
He blinked and cleared his thought. “How am I supposed to help?”
“You’re a cop. You have access to whey more things then I do. Please.” She pleaded.
“I can try but I make no promises.”
“That’s all I need. And no one can find out about this.”
“Well I wasn’t exactly planning on running out onto my balcony and telling the world.” He replied sarcastically. “Lissa I can’t promise you that I can fix this, but I can try.”
“Thank you.”
