Nadeeshda Krupskaya was a Marxist activist, revolutionist and adviser dedicated to the Soviet Union educational reforms. Lenin was the wife of Vladimir Lenin for 26 years until she died in 1924.
She grew up in a family of poor parents. Since childhood she could see the benefits of education and hard work. She was committed to education, while after her father died, she gave tuition classes to children. She loved Leo Tolstoy's work and his ideas on education - respected the importance of the person and the relationship between teacher and student
In the early days of her life, she was introduced to Carl Marx's work. In 1894, she first met Lenin, who was delivering lectures in a discussion group. Not much is known about the beginning of their relationship but the two were arrested within months. When Lenin was sentenced to deportation in Siberia, he wrote a letter to Nadeeshda asking him to join him. They had to get married to do so, so as soon as Nadeeshda came to Siberia they got married.
Only a few know about their love. But they sure had strong professional partnership. In some of her notes, Nadeeshda wrote: “Even a job like translation with him is a labor of love. "
Krupskaya joined Lenin in Munich after teaching in 1901 and they both left for London. They lived in several European cities and returned to Russia in 1905.
Apparently, Nadeeshda suffered from Graves disease, but couldn't stop her from working as Lenin's personal secretary as well as author secretary of party newspapers and magazines. Leon Trotski, who was given the opportunity to work with Lenin and Krupska from 1902 to 1903, described Nadeeshda's role in his work in the Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, was crucial.

In his words, the Krupska was "center of all organisation affairs. The brothers were patient when she arrived, advised them as they left, made contacts, supplied secret addresses, wrote letters, and exchanged codes and rotated letters. In her room, there was always a scent of paper burnt with fire letters to read.. "
Krupskaya moved to Paris and served as a teacher after the 1905 unsuccessful revolution but returned to Russia after the 1917 October revolution and spread Bolshevic propaganda. She was the only relationship between Lennin and everyone else while hiding in Finland.

Meanwhile, she was the vice-president of the Public Commissioner of Education Anatoly Lunacharski and became the chairman of the Committee of Education in 1920.
She served as the Deputy Commissioner of Education from 1929 to 1939. She set the foundation of a way to provide an educated population to the Soviet. She always believed that books, education and critical thinking would provide a better quality of living than the Soviet nation.
