What are your pronouns?

"They, them, we, us".

Well where is everybody? There's only one of you.

"I'm offended!"

Wait... you just used a singular!

"No I didn't."

You did it again! And don't get mad at me, "you" can be singular OR plural. But "I" is only singular.

"We... I... urk... vitz... squark... waglabba..."

BOOM!!!

Their head exploded.

Mine's next.

Reminds me of the Brit/Yank sportscasting split --

We say that a group is a singular thing. They say a group is plural. So we say "the team takes the field" while the Brits say "the team take the field". In their view "team" and "players" are synonyms. We see "team" and "group" as synonyms, both singular.

Two nations, divided, as Churchill said, by a common language.

Now the wokies want us to go down a linguistically destructive road much worse than this example, the end of which we will have reached when we can no longer talk to each other at all... about ANYTHING.
