The thing is, this is where the trans activists (again, not trans people) have their brains falling out of their skulls. They're virtue signalling their own credulity. They have to believe that nobody lies about their identities so passionately, that they have to demand that nobody question it -- even in regard to known liars and psychopaths.
Refer to Jessica Yaniv with "he/him" pronouns, the activists jump on you and insist you're transphobic. It doesn't matter that all the evidence points to this simply being a sick human being who's exploiting Canada's laws that list trans people as a protected class. It doesn't matter that he was talking about mensuration with young girls before his alleged transition. It doesn't matter that he's clearly xenophobic, and has used Canadian law to try to force foreign, religious women to touch his junk. It doesn't matter that he's lied about having periods himself. It doesn't matter that he tried to schedule a "clothing optional" pool party for young girls, "parents not allowed." So far as the activists are concerned, he says he's a woman, you must believe him. You're a bigot and a transphobe if you even question whether or not this monster is lying about that.
How about Amber McLaughlin? You know, the man who stabbed his ex-girlfriend multiple times, killed her, raped her dead body, and threw her in a ditch? I'm already transphobic because I referred to this monster by the allegedly wrong pronouns. It doesn't matter that the person was in prison for more than a decade identifying as a man. It doesn't matter that this monster didn't announce that he was really a woman until the state passed a new ordinance stating that prisoners shall be housed in the basis of gender identity rather than biological sex, and a trans-woman did get transferred to a woman's prison and granted clemency. No, it's entirely impossible that this person was just lying with the hope that he could spend the rest of his life raping all the women he wanted, who were stuck in a cage with him. I'm the fucking monster in this conversation. My friend is the fucking monster in this conversation. How dare we look at a pattern of behavior, correlate it with policy changes, and suggest that a person may be lying?
As for Ezra Miller, he hasn't murdered anybody yet, and I hope he never does. He is a serial abuser of women and young girls. Men who identity as men have had their careers destroyed for less than what he's done. I think that the film We Need to Talk About Kevin is one of the best ever made; and Ezra Miller played a murdering psychopath in that movie, and I find it hard to rewatch that movie knowing how much of a dickhole this guy is in real life. No, I don't believe that Miller is a "they/them" just because he tells us so. I don't believe that anybody is a "they/them" unless he or she is schizophrenic. I think that he's just a liar, and an abuser, and an evil person who should be questioned.
Also, this is where the activists are eating themselves.
Why do you want these men to be associated with the trans community?
I'm a man who lives my life as a man and identifies as a man. I'm also white. I don't check any intersectional boxes when it comes to being under-privileged. I haven't held back in pointing out that men tend to be more violent.
The trans community is still struggling. Why are the activists trying to associate murderers and rapists, who are very plausibly lying, with the community that they claim to be advocating for?
I can take a Jessica Yaniv or an Amber McLaughlin being associated with men who do awful shit to people. I'm used to it. I'm built for it to a certain extent.
Don't force the trans community to eat this shit.
