Generosity in the bible: A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed

The Bible teaches us that God prospers magnanimous people, like King Solomon who sought wisdom and justice to share it with love to his people (2 Chronicles 1:10), and as a result God granted him great riches: "King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth" 1 Kings 10:23.
Generosity not only applies to physical goods but also to spiritual goods, be generous in mercy, be generous in wisdom, be rich towards God; when we think of generosity we sometimes think of great acts, but there is a daily generosity that goes unnoticed and that is the most important, generosity is progressive and edifies hearts: "Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthians 9:7.
Generosity makes us more human, brings us closer to god, and brothers towards our neighbor, as in the Gospel of Luke, the good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) who is moved by his neighbor injured by thieves, and comes to his aid.
Generosity tends bonds of solidarity, and when these bonds are absent, in a moment of difficulty, people will not have why to fight, that is why many kingdoms and countries have disappeared.
The Bible also reminds us that our actions are subject to the law of the harvest and sowing ("For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7), that's why who accumulates wealth with greed nothing extracts from them, because at some point evil returns.
The book of proverbs with a series of short sentences shows us how generosity and pettiness play in everyday life:
"One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.
A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
People curse the one who hoards grain,
but they pray God's blessing on the one who is willing to sell.
Whoever seeks good finds favor,
but evil comes to one who searches for it." Proverbs 11:24-27.
