Jeez I feel the pain @pagandance
I guess you were better of HODLING rather than investing it in Genesis Mining
Well I hope you finally get your return and nothing bad happens regarding Gensis
But luckily there are other opportunities in crypto-land. So I am invested in bitconnect and control finance too (for a little more than a bitcoin in total for both), and I see the returns compound every day.
When my investment in these 2 has gone up to 10000, I will start taking out my money that I invested and have a free ride. If these companies are suddenly ended for whatever reason, I will have lost only 1 bitcoin.
Besides that I have a lot of Steem too that can only go up. And for the rest I will start hodling from now on.
Don't put in too much, it doubles by itself anyway every 2 or 3 months, so :-)
It's the ideal solution if you're a lazy or a lousy trader :-)
But get your initial investment out of it before anything bad may happen
Yeah they have some but I am not looking for profits that way.
But if you don't mind you can use my link https://bitconnect.co/?ref=collector
and if you don't it's alright also :-)
indeed, that's what I am thinking too. it comes from around 1000, then half-way made a bulflag around 2500, and now we are in for yet another 1500 + all the way to 4000 :-)
you can't get out of GM, you have to sweat it out and hope they pay you as much as you have invested in bitcoins - not in usd of course - before 'your contract becomes unprofitable' and they shut it down.
I read somewhere on YT of a guy who invested in GM 2 years ago and he lost 32 BTC at the moment Genesis closed his contract.
My guess is he went in with 100 BTC when it was like 200-300usd and got only 68 BTC back out of his 'life-time' contract. I guess the 1/3 lost goes to those above you in the pyramid scheme.
a couple of months, I watched one of them "What's up guys, I am gonna do another Genesis Mining upgrade" video and thought it was a good idea to multiply my bitcoins.
How wrong I was. Not because of the 'daily' payouts that have turned into 'weekly'. But because of the ultra-fast drop in ROI. If I am VERY lucky, I may get all of my bitcoins back in 2 years or so.
But now I believe I may be happy to recover 2/3 of the bitcoins I invested. I am sure I will NEVER see any satoshi, that has been 'mined' in 'China' or 'Iceland'.
Knowing where bitcoin will be going in the next 5-10 years, this Genesis disaster will have cost me millions.
Over time it shows that Bitcoin turns out to be solid and stable over time so yes people are confident if not everyone would sell and it would be spitting.
Cloud mining iin low-electricity countries to reduce costs is a good idea in theory. Sadly they keep all the profits for themselves...
