Soy Gustavo García (GUGA) Tengo 27 años, soy de Caracas, Venezuela. Estudié Licenciatura en Estudios Internacionales en la Universidad Central de Venezuela y música en el Conservatorio Simón Bolívar. Ya tengo un tiempo en Steemit pero por no haber leído las recomendaciones, no había hecho este paso, así que más vale tarde que nunca.
Nací en el seno de una familia de músicos, en principio mi padre que es guitarrista; mis hermanos Carlos (Bajo eléctrico) y Esteban (Trompeta) quienes fueron creando este entorno musical en el hogar. A la edad de 4 años mis padres me inscriben en el Núcleo San Agustín del Sistema de Orquestas y Coros Infantiles y Juveniles de Venezuela, donde hago mi iniciación musical, práctica coral, orquestal y clases individuales instrumentales. Este fue el espacio donde desarrollé mis aprendizajes musicales durante casi 10 años.
Luego formalizo mis estudios en el Conservatorio de Música Simón Bolívar, además de ser instrumentista violín de la Orquesta Juvenil de Caracas 2006 - 2009. Momento en donde inicio mis estudios universitarios y dedico tomar una pausa en mis estudios musicales. Sin embargo, mi actividad musical se transformó de lo académico a lo popular, también influenciado por géneros importantes para mi como la salsa, jazz, floklore, etc.
Aparte del Violín que es mi instrumento principal, me considero un cordófono en experimento, un apasionado autodidacta de los instrumentos de cuerdas como la Guitarra, Cuatro Venezolano, Bajo eléctrico, Ukelele y Cavaquinho.
