For the sake of completeness, however, I will go through even the simplest and most obvious steps.

Take care of yourself

“Nourishing yourself in a way that helps you blossom in the direction you want to go is attainable, and you are worth the effort.”
– Deborah Day

Keep a strict routine. Shower and brush your teeth daily. Use deodorant.
Groom yourself at least once a week - this includes trimming your beard & body hair and taking care of your nails. Pluck your nose hair.

Buy clothes that fit your body type. Have something to wear for every occasion. Wash and iron your clothes regularly. Acquire knowledge about how to combine them.

Invest in good shoes and suits. Keep them clean at all times. Use shoe trees immediately after taking your shoes off.

Improve yourself

-Benjamin Franklin

Ask yourself. Would your life be different within a year if you improved yourself every single day? It definitely would.

Any habit - even the most obstinate - can be changed. So start transforming bad habits into good ones. Start working out and eating right. Start to read books and newspapers. Be aware what happens in the world.
Get closer to your ideal self step by step. And soon you will be a different man.
