Crystal cluster smaller than a dime.

I discovered another crystal that turned out to be quite interesting. It's a very small quartz crystal cluster that had fallen out of a Moroccan geode a while back, when I broke it open. 20180503_163536.jpg
As you can see, this cluster is less than half the size of an American dime. Approximately 1 cm. Yet there are complex crystal structures even at this minute size. Actually the structures reduce down to the molecular level .

The exact structure is duplicated to a larger complex of the same structures bonded together.
To the naked eye this is a very tiny sparkly little cluster.

The perfect natural facets on this particular crystal in the cluster allow for the prismatic effect you see here, very much like the faceting that is done to a diamond
