The EU tries to sabotage Trump's decision on Jerusalem

in geopolitics •  7 years ago

The Euobserver publication discusses (https://euobserver.com/foreign/140808) a confidential EU document which details plans to derail Trump's decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem. No surprise, given the EU's traditional anti-Israel and anti-Trump's stance. For instance, it mentions that half of the Palestinian children have dropped out of school, impllying that this too is Trump's fault. At the same time, the document is uncertain how successful these policies are likely to be. It mentions that 27 European companies are already working with the settlers in East Jerusalem and that six Eastern European countries abstained from condemning the US initiative.

I'd like to see the actual document. Based on the report, it's not clear whether Brussels is implying Trump is at fault for Palestinian kids dropping out of school. But, if that's the case, wow... interesting logic.

By the way, thanks for including the link!

Why would they list this non-sequitor otherwise?
