GetGems was an Attention Economy crypto project I used to follow. I still use their Telegram client although I have unsubscribed from the group chats. I was surprised today to see that the token is actually at an all time high, despite having been removed from Poloniex and Bittrex.
The only market CoinMarketCap.com has listed for it is the CounterParty exchange. Even there, even at an ATH, it has 0 volume (and the price doesn't match, not sure what's up with that).
It must still be available for trade somewhere, because these charts aren't making sense to me. It used to be on BitShares/OpenLedger, but it has no trade history when I look there today.
interesting observation! it's weird... but the price feed must come from somewhere? or maybe that's just an old price being calculated up through the current BTC rates?

That's probably it actually. Some trade from a little while ago being treated as today's BTC value. I guess things coinmarketcap.com gets a bit quirky when a coin is literally dead.

yeah, probably just a bit of "painting the tape" action. maybe someone traded 1 unit somewhere hoping to put the coin back on the "map" so they could try dumping their holdings lol
