Good day dear Steemit mates! This is my entry to @themarkymark's Get Shit Done contest.

And for it I choose completion of painting windows, haetting battery and door to the balcony in one of the rooms in my flat after renovation and repair.

How it looked before

The choice fell on this particular case due to the fact that, as is often the case, the matter that should have been completed was immediately delayed for some time.

So for painting material and tools were purchased in November. But because of some suddenly arising cases, I founded many more important things to do, or I was tired, or my laziness, or maybe simply because of procrastination, until the last day the windows were not repainted. All that was needed was to clean and prepare the surface and paint it.

However, due to the fact that I saw the original post of @themarkymark and thought a bit about what I was doing wrong, I understood that unfinished business also takes place in my life. And it is they who inhibit and do not allow to move on. Now, as it turned out, it is much easier and easier to find free time than if it will be in spring or summer. In addition, with the beginning of the summer period, the desire to be at home will not be at all and all the time will be held in nature.

That is why, having freed up a couple of free hours, I got down to business.

In process

In my opinion, this painting work is important due to the fact that its incompleteness prevented me from completing the complete renovation of the room and glue the wallpaper. In addition, untreated / poorly treated wood is more susceptible to destruction and spoils the look of the room.

After the window, heatting battery and the door to the balcony were painted in several layers in the photo with the final result, you can see that there was a sensation of a brighter and volumetric space.

The painting materials do not clutter the room, and i can move thuther.

And to top it all off, now I can safely make out the walls without fear that they will be stained or damaged when painting the windows.

Of course now I feel myself a little bit more free and closer to the end of my repair and renovation!
