On arriving Sunyani at 5:29 after more than 8hours from Accra for SteemUp Ghana.| It was a tiring journey but it was worth it as we took time out to do this welcome video

in ghana •  7 years ago  (edited)

This is the team as we boarded a bus from Accra to Sunyani for the first Steemit Ghana Meetup.

We were received by @RichForever who from that evening, stayed with us until we boarded a bus out of Accra on the 10th of January.

See the early morning motivation/welcome video we did even after that long journey.

After embarking on that long ride from Nigeria which was a little over 13hours, we finally got to Accra from where we headed to Sunyani on another 8hour ride. Pheewww!!!
The ride was long and we waited patiently to arrive.

There was nothing to eat except Tilapia Fish.

On Arriving the Hotel.

The Hotel we lodged in was the Tyco City Hotel which is kinda cool as it comes equipped with Free WiFi, Swimming pool, Gym, Bar and Restaurant and some quality hospitality with clean towels.
See our documented entrance.

As you can see from the video and photos, the team was tired and needed to sleep as we were due for the meetup in the next 4 hours.
We soon were ushered into our various rooms and we tried as best as we could to catch some sleep which was well deserved or so it should be, but we went on to do that video.

I Feel Blessed!

The team still remains @Ejemai, @Fisteganos, @Tojukaka, @Gee1, @Ewuoso, @Adejoke16 and @Ibukun. Our host and guide was the amazing @Richforever..., may you be 'Rich Forever' bro.

The adventure is numerous as we had the opportunity to see and meet the amazing people of Ghana and also helped them understand some basic workings of the Steem Blockchain with a promise to keep working closely with them.

Make the world a better place for someone today!

Welcome bro

I say Amen too!

Team really looking stressed up. Good one taking steemit cross border.

It was worth and still is worth it, I would rather we are stressed for a good cause than for those that will add nothing to us.
