Curious what was done in after effects. The color? Seems like the color is 3d, so if that's the case i'm assuming it was a kind of texture mapping?

    hi yes, you are right! i animated the color changes in after effects and saved that as a quicktime mov which i then use as an animated texture map in cinema4d.
