The true life through christ: Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin

In the epistle to the Romans we see a reflection of the early days of the primitive Church, Paul had completed his third missionary journey and was preparing to travel to Rome to preach the gospel. But as we read in the letter, it is addressed mainly to Jewish converts to the Christian faith.
The main theme of the letter is the salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is, let us remember, the opposite of the spiritual death, the fullness of spiritual goods in man, happiness, joy, prosperity, inner peace, and longevity (Immortality, Romans 2:7). In the epistle, among other topics, the apostle tells us how death entered through original sin, the sin of Adam, but with Jesus instead, we know true life, Jesus is the new Adam.
The gift of justification that is received in the baptism along with the spiritual gifts of hope and faith are essential to achieve that new life in Christ, that is the contemplative activity or eternal life, justification is more than the absolution of sins, it is a special help to live according to the dictates of the spirit.
This is how the apostle Paul tells us the difference between the guilt of Adam and the grace of Christ that gives us life:
"But the gift is not like the trespass. For it the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many! Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For it, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!" Romans 5:15-17.
