Why GIN should offer VPN service ?

GIN team proposed GEA Protocol(GIN Ecosystem Apps Protocol) in new whitepaper recently, which allow developers to build large decentralized distribute services on GIN platform, such as data mining, machine learning/AI training, oracles, decentralized VPNs, self-perpetuating workloads. I think decentralized VPNs is the best choose as the first GIN Ecosystem App, GIN platform has 8000+ nodes as infrastructure now.

VPN has HUGE demand in China. Internet users living in China need VPN access to Google, Twitter, Youtube and so many blocked websites by government. Not for privacy, but for free. According to analysis, 10 million Chinese users use VPN to access foreign websites. There are two major ways to use VPN: buy a VPN service or rent a VPS to build a proxy server. The most popular proxy service is Shadowsocks and ShadowsocksR, call for short, SS and SSR. Some websites offer dozens of SS nodes as proxy service, $3/month for 2 devices. A website called bandwagonhost rents a VPS server with built-in SS and SSR service. Users can directly modify the parameters of the SS server on the web management page.
