What a talented artist!! The veiled Christ;Exquisite artwork. Alot of time,effort patience went into it I'm sure.

He made the marble so transparent that it birthed the popular #rumor that he placed a real veil over the sculpture and turned it to stone through alchemy.Incredible. Beats the pile of corrugated roof iron desplayed on the floor of an "#artgallery" or a large blank untouched canvas hung in a very prestigious national gallery with the title: #BLANKTHOUGHT.Ever tried carving marble? Actually not that hard. Its a very easy to carve stone. The veil effect was very popular, in the post #Renaissance, #Baroque and #Rococo.
