I don't think it's actually the mic. Not sure what happened there. It's just the onboard mic that I've been using lately. Worked fine on the next one. Just got caught in a little feedback loop, somehow. The monitor box was unchecked too, so the speakers shouldn't have been feeding it back. Well, hopefully it won't happen again.

Also, I wanted to say in response to your video that I a) really appreciate your commitment to building community and not buying votes. I want to see organic growth with my own blog, so this is very encouraging. And b) Even though my account isn't a month old yet, I already feel like part of the community. I think I owe a lot of that to your content and your contests. They really have been a blast to be part of, and with your WAPAT, I felt inspired to write some fiction for the first time in a long time. Well, I appreciate that. I honestly wasn't fishing for compliments. I know that over time, this community will grow, and those votes and voting power with it. The more I make here, the more time I can commit and the more support I'm able to give. I wish I could afford to just give everything I make back in prizes for a month or two. That would be really cool. I know a lot of these people, this is literally survival money. They live in areas where a few dollars represents a month's salary. I'd love to be able to make a bigger difference for them.
