Jesus changed the world without any doubt. Many Steemians wish to do the same with our community. I suggest we follow His example.
I was thinking about the coming Christmas season and decided to re-read the 1st chapter of the gospel of John. In this writing Jesus begins to establish followers. He had the ‘God’ factor helping, but that aside, He kept a common thread throughout His life. Everything was for the benefit of others.
The Steem community would be well served to do the same. We should keep the benefit to others as our primary concern in every post we produce. With every vote we give our focus should be on voting for others.
Efficient use of voting power is important! Using 100% of our daily voting capacity to bless others is key. Every minute that passes should be refreshing spent voting power.
The people who control the system should likewise us all of their stake to bless others.
Today @exyle posed a question about using such power to recruit developers to build alternative income sources. I agree completely! We should use every resource available to promote the success of others.
The focus of such effort is about helping others. I doubt if Jesus would have changed the world if ‘self promotion’ would have been a part of his plan.
What can we give to our followers each day? Beauty? Truth? Support? Love?
If we think about what we offer others in everything we do... Steem can change the world.
Here is today’s beauty.
