Show me persistent poverty amongst a group of persons, and I will show you a group of people who are actively practising GIVING from a mindset of pity, & RECEIVING from mindset of powerlessness!
Don't get it twisted darling, pity & empathy (the ability to literally see yourself in the other) are not the same. One is empowering for ALL if practised right, while the other perpetuates the reality (in this case poverty) we do not want, or claim not to want.
When you give ONLY out of pity, you are energetically agreeing to the perceived suffering & sorrow of the other. This ensures the poverty remains intact while the giver's "ego" becomes inflated (yaaaaay I'm richer & better than so & so & so it is). Do you SEE yet, how this type of giving acts as fuel, to the flame of poverty on both sides? Okay.
But giving from a mindset of empathy (you are me & I am you) recognises the divinity , the ultimate potential in the other. This type of giving, sees/feels the supposed suffering presented by the mind, but transcends it. That way, a different reality (in this case wealth) is cocreated!
Check in your experience & confirm for yourself. How many of the people (friends, beggars,loved ones,etc) you gave out of PITY have become better than you or have actually elevated from where you left them? Sweetie, do you wish deep down that they become richer than you ? 😊
Now check that & compare to the people you gave out of empathy. The difference is clear !
