“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)

• You work covenant with giving. Giving is working of covenant.

  • To some extent, maturity of a believer is known or measured through his or her giving ability.
  • A believer’s maturity, growth level in God, is assessed through his or her disposition to money and material things.
  • You can know someone’s level of trust in God through how he or she reacts to money and material things.

• In relating with God, He wants you to adopt the posture of unwavering submission to Him.

  • If you adopt this posture, God will permeate your entire Life—in your relationship with Him. The person of you and everything you have would be touched by Him.
  • God would not leave any area of your life untouched, except the one you refused to relinquish to Him—allow Him to touch.
  • God will touch your money. He will demand for all you have, to prove to Him that your trust is not in what you have, but Him—remember He is a jealous God (Mark 10:17-22).
  • He would not want to share you, your love or affection, with anyone or anything.

• God’s Possession

  • To be God’s possession means He taking over every area of your Life absolutely.
  • That may be difficult for someone living in the flesh—someone who is not broken, who is controlled by the flesh.
  • When God takes absolute control, it means a total dominance. He wants nothing to be done in your life without His say-so.

• God regulates what comes to you if you are submissive to Him and want His will done in your life.

  • He regulates your income based on your level of maturity, how much you can handle or manage, and what you have to do with money, that is, your needs.
  • He will not give you what you do not need.
  • He will monitor how you spend what He gives to you.
  • You will give Him report of how you spend what He blesses you with.
  • He will tell you what to sow, give as a seed, in order to get what you want from Him.
  • God may not give you what you ask in prayer but demand a seed from you, in order to release what He has for you—which you have requested.
  • If God wants to answer your prayer, He will make a demand from you.
  • When God asks you to sow, it is an answer to your prayer. In other words, answer to your prayer comes through what God asked or instructed you to do.
  • God may give you an instruction, a responsibility, what to do, when He wants to answer your prayer (1 Kings 17:8-16).
  • God wanted to preserve the life of the widow and her son at Zarephath, He led Elijah the prophet to go there, and he, Elijah, instructed her to prepare a meal for him first, out of the little flour and oil left with the widow, and she obeyed (1 Kings 17:8-16).
  • Your obedience to what God instructed you to do, delivers into your hands what you have requested—your heart desire.
  • When God wanted to bless Abraham and cut a covenant with him, He told him to sacrifice his son, Isaac (Genesis 22:1-18).

• Be seed conscious do not be need conscious.

  • Always ask for what God wants you to do when you have a need, this is how to walk with Him and get His attention.
  • A notable woman at Shunem often persuaded Elisha to eat food, and provided a place to stay, whenever Elisha went to the town for one thing or the other. Hence God honoured her by blessing her with a fruit of the womb which was a major need in her life (2 Kings 4:8-17).
  • If you are making a request from God, always tell Him that you are ready to do whatever He may instruct you to do and give whatever He may demand for.
  • It is not enough to say it, you must mean it in your heart. You know, you cannot cajole Him; He knows the intent of your heart.
  • If you mean it, He knows, and if you do not, He knows.

• In God’s total dominance or control, that is, when you are submissive to Him unwaveringly:

  • You are not free to do whatever you like, and you are not free to go wherever you like.
Everything has to be instructed or controlled by Him.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”
    John 21:18 (NKJV)
  • He directs you on how to spend, how to dress, what to eat, He directs on how to use your time, relationship you cultivate, and regulate everything about you.
  • It is what He releases to you that you get, you cannot manipulate or maneuver your way to get what He does not approve (Psalm 104:27-29).

• The truth is:

  • Such a life, a life of unwavering submission, is a choice Life, and it is the kind of life that God wants every believer to live (John 10:17-18).
  • It is not a bondage, but submission.
  • It is a freedom with a responsibility.
  • It is the life that culminate establishment of lasting covenant with God.
  • You are free to choose between God TAKING total control of your life, partial control, or be independently of Him.
  • When you submit your person and everything you have to God totally, and you LET Him have absolute control; you will have the best of Him—because you have given Him an opportunity to do His will.

• Grow In Your Giving:

  • Establish covenant with Him through your Giving.
  • Sow your tithe: ten percent of your income (Malachi 3:10-12).
  • Give offerings:
~ Kingdom project offerings—you give to mission works, outreaches, and whatever programme and project commanded by God (Exodus 35:4-29).
~ Prophet offerings—you sow, give, to your prophet, pastor, or whoever minister God has used to bless you regularly, for the anointing on them to bless you.You sow up to go up! (Philippians 4:16-19).
~ Offerings to the needy—you give to meet the needs of those who are of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10).

• When you give or sow a seed to support a minister or ministry, your seed gives you an access to the grace and the anointing on the servant of God and His ministry (Luke 8:1-3).

  • Paul in his letter to the Philippians says:
  1. “For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities.
  2. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the FRUIT that ABOUNDS to your ACCOUNT.
  3. And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
    Philippians 4:16,17,19 (NKJV)
  • Every ministry has a covenant backing it.
Thus, to access the anointing on your prophet and the covenant backing Him and His ministry, you have to pay attention to the giving principles that are highlighted above.
  • The anointing on a servant of God cannot rub off on you without giving, sowing to his life and ministry, that is, his vision.
  • Even if you were unable to meet him one on one, as your seed gets to him and he prays on it, there shall be flow of grace, anointing. It is a spiritual principle, and it is a Kingdom mystery!
  • God will cause the anointing on your prophet flow to you through the seed sowing principle.
  • It is not enough to follow a minister or servant of God WITH your mouth and physical presence, your seed must also be involved in the relationship.
  • In fact, you can follow somebody and access, connect with the anointing on his life through your seed—without meeting him in person.
  • May the Lord give you understanding!

• You will not fail in Jesus’ name.
Peace!
