It's Giving Tuesday!

We became aware of this, thanks to this thoughtful donor who posted about a small gift to us, setting an example to others with his kind deeds and selflessness today. Thanks for that, @steevc!

Hot on the heels of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this annual day of giving called Giving Tuesday is poised to counteract some of the world's more blatant consumerism. To be fair, we like "stuff" so consumerism is not our beef, in fact, we don't mind it too much, if you can afford it, but when you just can't imagine what one dollar of that consumerism might have done to put some food in your belly, it becomes a bit more of something to think about.

We help people stuck in crashed economies or living in poverty and malnourished conditions here at The YouAreHOPE Foundation. We can feed about 25 people in a single day in many poverty stricken locales for about 10 SBD/STEEM more or less, depending on the country and current economic factors, but help a lot, we do, are and will. With your help, of course!

How about it?

Can you help us with some spare change to feed someone?

Or maybe you've got ten big ones on hand you can gift to feed as many as 25 people who otherwise might not get a meal tomorrow?

Here's another idea. Give on behalf of a gift of giving for someone else! They might even win a prize!
