Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao spoke at Binance Blockchain Week on September 14, saying that the proposed regulatory framework for the EU Market of Crypto Assets (MiCA) is excellent and could become a global standard for crypto regulation.
MiCA's proposed framework forces crypto companies to apply for the same license to operate across the European Union. It also limits access to dollar-backed stablecoins, which Zhao said is the only thing that could change.
