Most of the mountain climbers tend to analyze and admire only the outer part of the mountain, but one courageous photographer stays on the adventures of the inner part of the Rocky Mountains and reveals the remains of the glaciers that have not been spotted yet.
Canadian photographer Paul Zizka descended into a 139-year-old Booming Ice Chasm, slab in Sentry Hill, and captured glaciers that are not really melting.
Inside this cavity, both sides of it enclose the crystal with a clear blue layer of ice. Due to the hardness and firmness of this ice, some researchers resembled the movement on its surface as a flying sensation.
These ice slopes formed rainwater and snow fell into the caverns and then sunk into a solid ice layer. The surface of this glacier looks like a liquid, but in fact its thickness reaches even several meters.
These mountain caverns are very widely known due to their unique frozen planes. Their appearance is compared to the huge blue tongues flowing into these abyssal areas.
Zizka's cracks visited this year together with Guides Andrew Fairhurst and Jeff Smith. He said: "Such areas are unique and unique in the world, so they need to be discovered and rejoiced. Possibility to envision such a unique place is perhaps the most important achievement of my career, "
"It was also a particularly technically complicated shooting operation," he added. Being in this mountain hole to communicate with others, people in it, is very difficult due to the never-ending echo.
The man explained: "Despite the dark and enveloping environment, it's very difficult to communicate with the rest of the team due to the existing acoustics." That is, speaking with each other, the researchers had to take pauses for a few seconds between each of their syllables.
Zizka, who specializes in mountain landscape photography and adventure photography, said: "I thought I had already seen the most spectacular parts of the world, and I already envisioned them, but no one can match the vision I saw in Sentry on the hill."
