Bajai Body Camp 14.22: Day 411

22.5% hungry?

The last exercise I did before bed was neck work; the back and sides. And this morning I feel it. Right at the border, where the head meets the neck. The fact that it's sore proves to me that I need to work it more. Oh yeah, I didn't mention it, but I'm pretty sure I worked the wrists. Normally... making some progress in some positions. It's slower in others. There's no pain though.

Quiet and hot on a Sunday in Sevilla. Only tourists on the streets.

Morning training done and a good hot soak, and round one. Today's fitness included abs, pushups, wrist work, standing elbow-to-knees. Pushing the fast until noon-ish. I need to grow the muscles in my thighs. Despite walking with weight... the thighs seem to have atrophied. I need some weighted squats and deadlifts.

I'm not looking forward to making this walk to the bus station. Looking at a map of Sevilla I can understand why William Penn's grid system was so revolutionary. There's no straight path from here to the station. Going through the city center is like going through a maze. Indeed plotting my course reminds me of solving mazes as a kid. Only today, I have to physically follow it.

Salad to break the fast. Added tomatoes and mushrooms. I just want to chill today. I don't even want to leave for my daily cup of tea.

This hotel has music I like playing throughout.

Props to the Spanish bars that serve dark beer. Guinness will do nicely.

Found the station with no maps or constantly looking at my screen shots. Just memorized the names of a few main streets and plazas, kept my directions about me... and I went to the wrong place. But the right place was across the street. Got my ticket, headed to Lisbon on Martes. Wonder if Marta is still there.

Tuna burger and potatoes..second eating. I think my salad should count.

The tuna-burger was on special. Y lo fue delicioso.

I went out for agua and came back hungry, so two eggs, cheese, meat, tomatoes, guacamole, mushrooms... and now I'm going down for tea. I seem to have been hungry all day. I think I'll sneak down to the gym and see if I can get a workout in.

Two pots of tea later and another episode done... I stopped down to the gym for a little pushing and pulling on the cables and some legs presses.

This was a full day. Got my ticket, a good hour plus of walking, three meals... yikes!!! And a mini gym workout in addition to the regular morning stuff.

I finally tried the gym at midnight. Not bad.

And still stayed up past 02:00. Need to book my place in Lisbon.
