Blue horse chicken, aliasing chicken, pine chicken, horse chicken, chicken -shaped pheasant horse chicken belongs to land poultry, and is a larger category. It is a horse chicken, and it is also a national second -level key protection wildlife.
There are two reasons for their names: the first is that most of their feathers are blue -gray, and the second is the tail feathers and drooping, like a horse's tail. The blue horse chicken is a unique bird of Chinese, inhabited the sparse shy grasslands, pine or oak forests at an altitude of about 3,000 meters.
The blue horse chicken has been found for more than 1,000 years of history. It mainly lives in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia and other places in China. Among them, Ningxia Helan Mountain is the northernmost end of their lives.
Their calls are very special and like to be together, and they are one of the most obvious habits of the blue horse chicken.
A single blue horse chicken screams strong and loud, and the wind can spread two or three kilometers away. The male bird usually calls "whine" or "hacga". Oh-whispered sound.
蓝马鸡，别名角鸡、松鸡、马鸡，鸡形目雉科马鸡属陆禽，属体型较大的雉类。它是马鸡的一种同时也是是国家二级重点保护野生动物。
其名字由来有二个原因：第一是它们的羽毛绝大部分是蓝灰色，第二是尾羽披散且下垂，像马的尾巴。蓝马鸡为中国特有鸟类，栖息于海拔3000米左右的山谷稀疏灌丛草原、松林或橡树林地带。
蓝马鸡被发现有1000多年历史，其主要生活在中国的青海、甘肃、四川、宁夏等地，其中宁夏贺兰山是它们生活的最北端。
它们的叫声很特别且喜欢合鸣，是蓝马鸡最明显的习性之一。
单只蓝马鸡叫声浑厚响亮，顺风可传两三公里外，雄鸟通常叫声为“呜呜呜”或“嘎嘎嘎”，受惊吓时雄雌鸟会发出吱喔-咯”“吱喔-咯”的声音。
