Global cooling grips the planet; Grand solar minimum

in globalcooling •  7 years ago

Cold temperature records were broken in the thousands around the globe this past winter, some as old as a century no longer stand and still the cold continues. This is not global warming, it is the other side of the cycle-global cooling. Arctic and Antarctic sea ice extent is quite healthy.

Increase in ice bergs expected to extend into June. Melting and calving of Greenland ice likely due to volcanic activity beneath the ice sheets as above ice temperature is -36*C. Increased vulcanism is a prediction of the Grand Solar Minimum hypothesis attributed to global cooling.

This extreme winter weather is going to be more common and have devastating effects on our crop growing resulting in food shortages. This has already happened. England has suffered food shortages this past winter in part due to the roads being blocked and deliveries impeded. Signs are popping up in Walmarts in the southern states declaring shortages due to extreme weather. The Arab Spring uprising a few years ago was not about democracy, it was about the skyrocketing price of bread. Expect more social unrest as food prices rise dramatically.

My warning to you is to stockpile dried foods. Those not prepared will be the first to panic.

I am also concerned about the upcoming Grand Solar Minimum which is likely to have effects similar to previous episodes in earth's not-so-distant history, see: Morner (2015). This is getting little attention relative to "global warming". Growing your own food is going to be critically important in surviving this in my opinion.

Yes, hello David, sorry about the tardy reply I have been offline for a while, but I am back to continue spreading the message with respects to the threat of the Eddy Minimum. And thanks for the comment. I checked out the link you provided and my one criticism is, is that we are already in a Grand Solar Minimum and it has even been named-Eddy Minimum. Otherwise he is right. Solar cycle 24, the present one has produced a third of normal sunspot activity and projections for the next solar cycle are for pretty much the same.

Based on Zharkova's magnetic phase variance of the sundouble dynamo.jpg I am predicting the climate next year will be possibly 4x worse than this past year. As the wider the phase variance the cooler the sun the worse the weather will be.

cheers

Thanks for your reply and clarification; I had not heard the term Eddy minimum before!

It was named after a solar physicist whom are all pretty much in consensus regarding the quieting of the sun.
