Lets Talk Global Warming

I have been reading up on this subject a bit more lately, partly because I like to surf youtube at night, watching VICE or Motherboard etc., and came across National Geographic’s film “Before the Flood” (which has already reached 60 million people worldwide and set records in terms of viewable minutes). If your interested in this subject its definitely worth a watch.

The film covers, in part, discussion about the agreements made at the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris and questions whether these agreements are truly actionable or if the participating countries can even be held accountable to their end of the deal. Additionally, based on the UN’s latest Emissions Gap Report, the world must cut another 25% from predicted emissions. More alarming is that the world is still on track with a temperature rise from 2.9 to 3.4 C this century (which is massive and even includes the commitments made in Paris).

So similar to my first post here, and given the diverse and unique community on Steemit - l’d be really curious about your thoughts on this subject and in general? It would be great to get opinions that are geographically diverse on this.

nothing humans do will have any meaningful impact on climate change.

we can stop polluting the air, water, and land, that we need to survive, but climate change is not human caused and will not be fixed by humans.

if we stop the polluting, and terrible farming practices, we may have a clean place to live and enough healthy food to eat, while we ride out what is happening with the sun and other influences.

the UN and it's IPCC has been shown time and again to be systematically lying to us. there is plenty of evidence for this.

the best advice that i can give you is to research this subject while trying to prove what you already think you know, wrong. you have no better critic than yourself. you are the most likely to convince you.

human caused climate change is a distraction.

good luck. i hope you find the information you need. if i can help let me know.

There is zero evidence to support man made global warming. Or was it global cooling? (http://www.populartechnology.net/2013/02/the-1970s-global-cooling-alarmism.html) No, wait its global warming. Well, actually not much evidence for that either. So, the propagandists call it climate change; and attribute any inclement weather as proof ! I hate to tell you, but you're not going to find anything from Vice, other then disinformation and obfuscation. The lie of climate change has nothing to do with saving the planet, and everything to do with Carbon trading, global carbon tax, and all the other money that can be made by selling the fear of climate change. I'm not sure how more people aren't suspicious to this fraud; when the proposed solution is a tax.
Having said all that, I still care deeply about the planet and its environment. However, I will not be taken for a fool. We have many environmental challenges like: nuclear waste, spraying of pesticides, garbage, deforestation, geo engineering (AKA chem trails), the list goes on. The emission of CO2 is not an environmental concern, if you are taking the much more real challenges seriously. I highly suggest you look at the history of the climate change scare, and who benefits from this scam. Without going into too much detail here, I'm sure if you investigate this throughly you will come to some startling conclusions as to why we are even having this conversation. I would start with evidence, that refutes the climate change "evidence". John Coleman, the founder of the weather channel has provided much evidence to show how bogus the official claims are. Another person who's done a great amount of scientific research, is Lord Mockton. I hope you start digging into this, it will reveal some startling truths.
