My other passion is Worms. Worm farming to be exact. I have been "studying" these creatures for nearly 10 years. They are amazing.
I have four worm farms at home and they take all our household organic waste, in fact I have an agreement with the neighbours now, they hang a bag of organic waste over the fence and text me. I feed my worms and make "gold".
Worm Shit (Casings) is a powerful natural organic fertiliser. Can be made for next to no outlay, and definitely brings you back to nature. The best part is that it can be made at home.
They double population every 6 weeks and can eat their body weight in food daily.
Food waste is a large contributor to greenhouse gas, as once it breaks down it actually releases methane into the atmosphere which does far more harm than CO2.
