Our go-club had what is called a pikkujoulu (= "little Christmas", or a pre-Christmas party) tonight. @gamer00 brought most of the food and drink. It was basically a normal club evening with a Christmas theme and food and drink offered. The club evening is held in a club room in the building @gamer00 lives in. His sons and his dog all made a brief appearance, which allowed me to wish them Merry Christmas.
Those are traditional star-shaped pastries with damsom plum jam in the center. Made by @gamer00's wife.

I've never heard damsom plum jam in English. What an excellent band name that would be!
