Advent 1 Luke 25 Psalm 53

At that time they will see the Son of Man coming upon a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your head because your redemption is drawing near…
When resistance increases, stand up and get ready. When the fighting starts, the Lord is close, for he is where the fighting is most ferocious, and where things look darkest.
God raises man. He has raised his Son as the one true real man, from whom all men will receive their resurrection life. The gospel raises man. Where the gospel is heard, and the Church gathers and rejoices, man is raised. The gospel finds man lying dejected and in squalor, and it pulls him up onto his feet. The culture of that society that listens to the rejoicing of the Church, points to this. The gospel gives that society a very high view of man. it shows him as the creature with hope. It lifts him. The kingdom of man-made-holy will be growing. But the sign of it, will be that it stands up and looks up, and faces ever more appalling challenges. All the settled landmarks of civilisation will break up, nations, empires, peace and world trade will break up, and people will be so desperate that many of them will turn into fiends and try to destroy one another. It will seem like the complete breakdown of man, the dissolution of everything familiar and good. It will be chaos and carnage, with so much destruction you will wonder if anything will be left. It will seem that the only sort of man left will be the most vicious killer of all. Everyone tries to make everyone else afraid. There will be a general seizure of power, in which everyone tries to make himself the dictator and warrior king, and tries to force everyone else to fear and obey him, and crush all who say no to him. This will seem like the new form of humanity, humanity as monster. But those who stand up against this monstrous will be the people of Christ. Christ will be their head and they will be his body.
The anti-Christ, the fake Christs, the Man of Destruction
There are many, many fake Christs, all wanting to be our leader and rule over us, to take our decisions for us and so take them away from us, all of them certain that they know best, and offering to take away our pain and leave us child-like, or sedated and numb. Instead they all leave us turned against one another, in a free-for-all of savagery. It is the great lie of Satan, that you can be yourself without us, and that you have to overcome us, and force us – that you have to be our tyrant in order to be yourself, that identity comes through the force by which you make yourself isolated…
Our psychopathic rulers don't want you to believe in God. When you don't believe in God – the God who gives us his name – you believe in a default god, and by default they are the god that you obey. You acknowledge that they are synonymous with power. That god of power is the product and outworking of these dictatorial individuals who raise themselves over us. They raise themselves and we raise them, justify and assist them, if we affirm, or do not publicly deny and reject the identity they claim for themselves. We do so by default if we refuse to acknowledge as God the true God, who gives us his name. They raise themselves by trampling us all down, and anyone who does not acknowledge Jesus Christ, assists them in this great disintegration caused by trampling and trashing of man. The anti-Christ is an amalgam of fake Christs, all united by the drive to isolate themselves by pushing the rest of us down. They exalt themselves and isolate us from one another, and so dissolve all society and end all joy. They represent the sheer will-to-power that cannot recognise or permit anything other than itself, so that the sole purpose of this power is to absorb everything into itself and destroy everything that attempts to withstand it. It is the vortex that appears as all logic, order and good institutions break up and spiral away down the drain. They embody the horror of life lived utterly alone, in a world without love, without anyone glad to see you. Lockdown is solitary confinement in which each of us dies alone, without anyone knowing that they are missing, or are trying to communicate with them and find them. If we obey this evil injunction to lock ourselves down, not to gather and meet, if we inflict this isolation on one another, we are part of this anti-Christ destruction of humanity.
This failure of love which allows the cold nothingness to come between us, and cut us off from one another, results in complete atomisation, the perfect destruction of humanity.
If we obey such a lockdown, we do not know who has given up and shut themselves away in the room in which they will die, without anyone else knowing who they are. They die because we have withdrawn from them. You corrupt yourself by any involvement in this vast lie and wickedness of masks, distancing and lockdown. You submit to your own imprisonment. You back away snarling into the darkest corner, blaming everyone and afraid of everyone. You cannot escape, because your jailor is you.
The broadcasters and media are the priests of this cult that intends to bring down mankind. They have turned to evil whatever was once good. They are demolishing all our institutions of public service. They have turned against us the institutions that were once dedicated to our service. They want to unmake all that has made us confident and strong, peaceful and prosperous. They want to divide us and make mistrustful of one another. They have spread this darkness over us, and we have helped them by repeating their messages and obeying their instructions. Do not assume that they mean well. Do not listen to them. Turn off your radio and television. Put down your phone. Stop listening to their fear, lies and confusion. They repeat their mind-numbing messages unceasingly in order to stop you answering back with questions, their broadcasting is religious mantra – and cursing – intended to make you powerless, isolated and unwell. The gospel of this anti-Christ is the putting down of man. All this is the outworking of the man who says in his heart, that there is no God but himself.
