We have all heard of Him, but who is He? We have friends who may speak about Him, but what do they say? What can they say? What do they know?

I am convinced that God is a paradox.…as with wisdom comes madness.

1.) What is living to him, can be seen as dead to others. And what is dead to him, can be seen as living to others.

2.) He teaches men of the light, by creating them in darkness.

3.) He reduces all the things I should ever love to vanity– yet he is the creator of all thing.

4.) He is spoken of in every language, and thoughts are given up to him daily yet no man has proof of him.

5.) He reveals himself in mystery yet seeks to be known.

6.) He ask men to avoid temptations, yet presents men with various occasions to be tempted.

7.) He ask for us to speak to him, yet silence is his only answer.

8.) He says, “Silence is the language of God, all else is poor translation”

9.) He allows men to justify all things as faith permits,
yet teaches that there exist both written and unwritten laws.

10.) He was in the beginning, and will be in the end.

Yet those who know him by name, have never seen him.

11.) He is not of the world, yet He is in it.

12.) He reminds people that they know nothing, and calls it a miracle
No wonder why no man can know the thoughts of God, to know them is it’s own madness.

13.) To gain Him is to deny oneself.

14.) He makes a lot of rules to serve him, but he is all-loving so he will pardon you from all of them.
