There seems to be so much darkness that exists in the USA right now. The division that was created by the past election in palpable on all fronts. However, we can, one person at a time, change that.
My wife are building a porch. It seems to me that life changed when we went from a porch to a deck. In that transition, we lost touch with our neighbors. We want to change that.
By sitting on our, "deck in the front" my wife and I hope to change our immediate community. When we get to know our neighbors better, we get to know the kids better we share ...community.
It is a start. We want to heal those around us.
