Morgana's grimmoire is an excelent card to have. It's basically the weapon version of merlin, but while it is very unlikely that merlin will be able to stick on the board for more than 1 or 2 turns, Morgana's grimmoire always guarantees 3 reductions in mana cost for your spells. Think of it this way, Merlin is a way riskier option with a much higher potential return, while Morgan's grimmoire guarantees you a fixed return.
