@gogogadgetupvote, thanks for this post and I must say that I really commend your activity of generosity. It's not easy for one to just decides over night to start rewarding people. You have done a great job here to motivate newbies like me on this platform. And about the #RULES NO 3, where you wrote that before a post could be in for the contest, it should have few comments under it. I want to suggest that you take your time to review that because the purpose of your course. It's a newbie contest, so how do we expect a newbie to have series of comment under his or her post when he or she is yet to follow users or being followed? Kindly note this for a review. It's Just an observation and suggestion. Thank you once again for taking your time to motivate us. Bless you

Sort Order:

There are a lot of people dedicated to welcoming new users. They tend to leave comments on new users intro posts. That is why I ask that posts be at least 12 hours old. That gives a bit of opportunity for people to leave comments on the intros, and for people to have made replies to them. If a post has half a dozen comments welcoming a user, and the user hasn't replied to any of them, it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence that user will be very active on the platform.
