I hope you're all having a great day. It's Friday, and markets will be closing in mere hours, but I wanted to talk about something that not a lot of people might be aware of: Gold hit $1,300 for the first time in 2017. Don't believe me? Here's some proof:
Is it because of the KKK thing in Virginia? Steve Bannon being fired from the White House? The Barcelona attacks? My guess is that yes, it's because of those things. Whenever there's uncertainty, it seems that gold and silver make moves. People want to pour into safe haven assets, and gold and silver are just that.
I think it's just about time to sit back and watch the show, folks. I think we're just getting started here. What are your thoughts? Do you think they'll let PMs go up, or will they continue to suppress them as long as they possibly can?
I don't know what to make of this, and I think there are too many factors in play to make any certain statement about it. With a phony economy, phony numbers, and manipulation at every corner, who knows what's real and what isn't? It just seems like the caged animal is clawing at the lock, and it's only a matter of time until he gets out.

Over the next month, I think NK tensions, White House drama, and the coming debt ceiling, will push gold well over $1300.
At that point, I'll be watching to see if the dollar continues to fall, if gold and JPYUSD still correlate, and if the crazy high silver to gold ratio falls.

This is letting the CAGED ANIMAL OUT to put on a SHOW, during a Three Ring Circus, surrounded by CLOWNS, just to be led back to the CAGE.
$1300/oz gold is good, but I've seen it higher and expect it to go higher.

Gold will need a bit more time before breaking 1300, the dollar is looking set to rally for the short term which will put pressure on gold. Gold 1260 is likely target, perhaps a tad bit more down side. Commitment of traders is neutral for gold but bullish for the dollar. Frank holmes said 80 percent of history, gold goes up in september and corrects in october. I have been tracking this leg up saying gold is going up since it was 1213ish, missing the exact bottom by 6 dollars. I said i woiuld love to see a run in gold to 1300, then the us dollar has a rally bringing gold to correct, before finally breaking out past 1300. We are at the correcting stage still i believe since 1300 has been hit, and the dollar is still due for a short rally.
