We lived in a little town in the foothills north of Boise for a couple years. The canyon is steep enough that sunrise and sunset were rather "blah" but the golden hour light still put on a nice show some days! I to ook this from near the top of the hill as I went to pick up my grandson one morning, about 10 years ago with with a Digimax S500.
We do have the girls t his weekend, so please excuse my slow replies and such - will be back this evening!

      Beautiful. I forget how pretty the sunrise and sunset can be in the mountains. We’re on the coast now, but used to watch the sunset over Pike’s Peak when we lived in Colorado.
