Went on a trip and took this at a viewpoint in the Crestline mountains in California. I came at the right moment when I took this photo as the sun was setting. I was utterly amazed at how colorful the skyline was because I've never seen something like this before in my life so seeing it in person was something I'll definitely never forget. One regret was not taking a tripod to try and get a long exposure.

This photo was taken a minute or two after the photo above this one. I used my longer 135mm lens but since I'm using a dx sensor it's more like a 200mm. I also really like this photo for its detail like the individual lights of buildings or streetlights of the city. The skyline and colors really make me feel like I'm looking at a beautiful large format photo.
