Electrified Gold Adds Subtle Highlights at Evening … Singapore River – GoldenHour Photography

During 5 years in Singapore, I rarely witnessed any sunsets worth looking at or writing about. So I had to look for other goldenhour views.

Riverside blues

The finest spots to chill out in the evening were along the river. And one of my favorite spots was Boat Quay, with its quiet bars and restaurants looking over the wide river. The view also covers a broad expanse of sky, which on this evening was colored a deep rich blue. 

(And in fact, this is one of the best spots to view fireworks exploding in the sky on Singapore’s National Day.)  

A bit of gold trim 

The tiny, bright lights shining in the distance and peaceful skyline on the far side of the river made the area even more tranquil. They often reminded me of a bit of gold trim on the edging of a well-crafted object. Location – Boat Quay, SIngapore, on Google Maps
