Golden Hour: beautiful sunset over Punta Esmeralda Bay, Mexico

I think the #goldenhourphotography contest organized by @juliank and @photocontests is one of those that I might never run out of photos for as I love taking sunset shots and have plenty of them :)

This one is actually just a few days old. I took it at Punta Esmeralda, a beautiful bay found outside the Mexican city of Playa del Carmen. The spot is a very popular chill-out area for the locals but tourists usually dont know about it at all.

Pokud jsem správně pochopil důvody @bucipuci pro jeho založení, tak by to mělo být místo, kam můžou členové naší komunity vkládat své (jakkoliv dlouhé či krátké) foto-posty jen tak pro radost, aniž by museli čelit nějakým negativním reakcím z řad ostatních členů. Je-li to tak, budu sem rád přispívat :) Hezký zbytek víkendu a ať vám to fotí, přátelé. Pro úplnost dodám, že tuto fotku jsem pořídil před pár dny v jedné zátoce kousek za městem.

its beautifull.....sunset scene always looks very calm and peacefull ,when you see sunset scene standing on beach you just lost in its beauty and you feel a spiritual peace in yourself

The rays are stunning, the color of the sky is awesome and the formation of the clouds is really beautiful. PLUS the waves and the reflection underneath. These are one of the main reasons why I definitely love sunset. 😊

Nádhera :) U nás tak můžu fotit zamrzlé rybníky, přehrady apod., i když ani ty nemusí vypadat úplně špatně, ale na moře prostě nikdy mít nebudou.
Možná jsi už tu fotku viděl v soutěži u CGH, kam jsem ji před nějakým časem dávala :) Jen ten západ slunce mi tam chybí. :D

Moc hezká, u Tomáše jsem si jí nevšiml :) To je slušná plocha ale, to jsou Nové Mlýny ne? :)) Jako moře je moře, to je fakt, ale přírodní krása se ukrývá opravdu všude, jde jen o to si jí všímat... ani nevíš, jak už se těším třeba do lesa na houby nebo na výšlap někde do Jeseníků či Beskyd ;)

Jj, to jsou Nové Mlýny :) Věřím ti, že se na to těšíš. Když člověk má něčeho nadmíru, moc si toho neváží, a pak, když mu to chybí, by za to dal nevím co. Já se zase těším k moři :D Ale vlastně se těším i do toho lesa v létě, ale ne na houby. Houbaření přítel miluje, pořád mě na něj tahá, a já už ho mám plné zuby :D Navíc věčně nacházím jedovaté houby. Když ony jsou tak pěkně barevné :D

Je to jak říkáš, člověk většinou chce to, co zrovna nemá a toho, co má, si neváží. Vím to a snažím se takový nebýt. Ale když jsi prostě dlouho pryč, tak ti začne domov chybět, to je asi přirozené.

To je strana od Strachotína (ta cesta, co vede od Strachotína do Šakvic). Jsem z jižní Moravy, původně z Mikulova. Teď bydlím ve větším městě, ale stavíme dům a snad se do roka budu stěhovat na vesnici, kde bude klídek :)

You know so many great locations phortun = ) Yet another amazing sunset picture.I wonder , is there any reason why tourists don't know about the chill-out spot ? Is it kept like a secret location by locals or perhaps its not allowed for some people ?

Thanks man :) It is the same camera (my cell phone :D) - 99% of my photos here on Steemit were taken with my cell phone. It can take pretty decent shots sometimes (when the light is good and usually close-ups too) but it really sucks in low light conditions... hence the ridiculous moon shot. As I told you - I am definitely going to get a real camera once I get back to Europe ;)

And yeah, feel free to join this contest! The deadline for each contest by @juliank is midnight Central European Time. So you have a few more hours. I am looking forward to your entry :)
