So it's father's day and I did pretty much nothing all day but get up, go to church, come home and lay around watching TV all day. Perfect. Well almost. What made it perfect was my step-daughter bugging me to get up and go for a walk. So we did. Here's a few pictures.

Getting dark, time to head back. Hope you enjoyed the walk down to the bayfront as much as I did. It was the perfect way to end a lazy father's day.

Sometimes that step-kid of mine has some pretty good ideas. Going for a walk this evening was one of em. I usually don't get out in the evening cause it usually still to damned hot, but tonight we had a nice cool sea breeze coming in off the gulf that smelled like rain coming, so that was an extra plus. Florida is getting uncomfortably hot again. I do wish I could avoid the day and but that isn't in the cards. Perhaps regular trips to the beach is in order after work.

Beach time daily helps with all things. I've been waiting for the rain for two days now. It's just off the coast and not moving much. Ugh. It's been months since we had any measurable amount to speak of. We missed out on the usual spring time downpours this year.

Rain is ever so slowly getting here. There's a tropical disturbance right off the coast, so some time today. We haven't had any measurable amount in 4-5 months now. Kinda strange, kinda not.

I hope you get some photographs when it arrives then @spozone. I love a good storm but we don't get very many at all. There were some in other parts of the UK a month or so again but it missed us. 😢
