Sunset from a rooftop in Buenos Aires.

Sunsets are not places, they are moments. Its beauty lies in the ephemerality of colors, lights, even smells. Jiddu Krishnamurti once said: "We share, all humanity shares, the light of the sun; that sunlight is not yours or mine. It's the life-giving energy that we all share. The beauty of a sunset, if one observes it with sensitivity, is shared by all human beings".

This time I’m sharing a small series of photos I made in a friend’s rooftop. I consider myself a sunset person, for me it’s just about those hypnotizing minutes where I found myself out of breathe thanks to that party of colors. It’s about immersing in the moment, feeling everything around and just enjoying.

Maybe the only difference between other people and me is that I always expect more from the sunsets. More spectacular colors when the sun reaches the horizon, fuller of life, but at the same time so soft. Maybe that’s one of my worst expectations.

"A sunset is nothing less than a glimpse into the universe".

That's something I don't notice much. Probably because I live close to the equator and it is all over very quickly

It used to happen to me when I was in Venezuela, the view depends also of the height.. When i lived in Mérida we were surrounded by mountains which blocked the sun at the sunset point but back in Maturin (those are different states of Venezuela) the sunsets were amazing!

Love the photos 😍👌👌

¡Gua! Muy sorprendentes las fotos, demasiado mágico el momento. Me encantaron mucho tus frases; "los atardeceres no son lugares, son momentos" y "es imposible ver un atardecer y no soñar". Es muy cierto. Saludos y un abrazo.

Those pictures are beautiful @vanessapineda7 , thanks for sharing them.

Thanks to you for taking the time to see them!
