Goldman Sachs's SETLcoin, A Veritaseum Killer?

Let me start by saying cryptos are the future.  They will in a matter of a few years be used by most people under 40.  Not only that, but many countries will have some form of blockchain tech to settle debt. India legalizing, Canada's project Jasper, and we all know about Putin's meeting with Mr ETH himself.  It's not hard to see with everything that's going on, where we're going.  Now we get news of Goldman Sachs getting awarded a patent for its proposed SETLcoin settlement crypto system.  Did we ever really think the banksters would let us have all the fun?

Thats right friends, Goldman fucking Sachs has entered the building.  Could this news be whats giving us our little pop in the price of Bitcoin today? Maybe, but Goldman first applied for the patent way back in October 2014 when most cryptos stackers were still spending most their time talking gold/silver.  News of the patent application only came out around the end of 2015.  No one I know talking cryptos, has even brought up the name Goldman Sachs.  Maybe it was done kinda undercover, or maybe most of us in the crypto world never payed too much attention to a "Cryptographic currency for securities settlement" back in 2015.  But wait a minute here.  Isn't that what Veritaseum is about?  Uh oh Reggie, we got a problem here.  Let's have a look at what Goldman said.

"[A] SETLcoin wallet can house a single security or multiple denominations of the same security (e.g., 1 IBM-S SETLcoin valued at 100 IBM shares). SETLcoin wallets may also house multiple securities (e.g., 1 IBM-S SETLcoin and 2 GOOG-S SETLcoins). For example, a single IBM-S SETLcoin may be exchangeable for one or more "GOOG" SETLcoins (i.e., Google shares), for 13,000 USD SETLcoins, 100 litecoins, and/or for 5 bitcoins."

Sounds alot like Veritaseum to me. Both SETLcoin and Veritaseum will settle securities trades using a cryptocurrency.  Mr Reggie Middleton, do you think you can beat the banks?  Good luck.  The way I see it, Veritaseum is about to get fucking whacked, and it's the banksters from Goldman Sachs.  The Goldman gang is no stranger of financial services including whacking the competition.  Sometimes it's just a matter of buying someone out.  Lets hope its the latter Reggie.  Either way, I don't see Veritaseum lasting unless some kind of a deal is made.
