The golf course review #1 De Eindhovensche Golfclub

The first one in a series from me, i am gonna review all the golf courses i ever played on in my life.

First in the series is one close to my hometown. It is the Eindhovensche Golfclub. Located in the south of The Netherlands and its one of the oldest golf courses over here. It is part of the “Old Nine” courses in Holland, and truly it is quite spectacular for a number of reasons.

The clubhouse is just like the club pretty old, and inside its very classy all around. The terrace, like it should be at every golfclub, is overlooking the 18th green. Personnel over here is very friendly as you van expect in the south of the Netherlands.

Practice facilities are really good as well. As you can expect from a golfclub with this status it really has everything, just one small downside is the length of the driving range, its only just over 225 meters, which is pretty short for todays standard.

The course itself is a basically in a forest and all holes seem to be different. On most of the holes you need to set strategy on the teebox already cause doglegs or strategic placed bunkers on the fairway. This combined with the tight layout between the trees makes it a very challenging course, the layout fort he 18th holes is to set an example of a fine golf hole, distances are in meters. Together with nicely paces green makes this golfcourse a very pleasant course to play.
