Trying GoldVoice To Connect To The Golos Blockchain

Today I found out about GoldVoice which is like Busy.org for the Golos Blockchain. I found out through this post by @broncnutz

https://steemit.com/golos/@broncnutz/golos-io-went-full-kgb-goldvoice-stock-is-rising

I originally got a distribution of Golos Power from day one when that blockchain was created. All STEEM Holders from 2016 got a distribution of it based on their STEEM Power at the time. Well the distribution didn't make sense for starters because since the distribution was all screwed up for STEEM then it ended up being screwed for Golos as well. Oddly enough they are still on the n^2 reward curve and never left it and then over here on the STEEM blockchain there are people that think we should go back to that. Personally I think that n^2 curve is ridiculous because people can't see any change in their voting power when they even buy thousands of dollars of STEEM. So what would be the incentive to power up if you know you can't effect your vote?

Why GoldVoice? https://goldvoice.club/@brianphobos/

Suddenly the Golos core team decided that they were going to take 10% of all rewards over on Golos.io. I just really feel like they have dropped the ball so many times and everyone feels that Golos hasn't lived up to what it could have been.

So if you post on GoldVoice.club then you don't have to pay the 10% tax that the Golos core team put in place. I'm not really making anything over on the Golos blockchain anyways but I always keep an eye on it and post something over there once in awhile.

In the back of my mind I keep thinking that if the price dropped really low I could buy up a bunch of it and become a whale over there but by all my calculations that wouldn't be possible because the distribution was so screwed from the beginning I would be unlikely to get any kind of traction even if I powered up $20,000 over there. Which I'm not going to do that.

Should You Join Golos Or GoldVoice?

If you had a Steemit account back in 2016 you probably have a Golos account already. If you don't then personally unless you know Russian and can cross post over there it doesn't make sense. Some of the top content creators that post over here that know Russian don't even post over there like @allasyummyfood

https://golos.io/@allasyummyfood

She posted a couple of times and stopped spending time over there. Again I keep my eye on it and my account is worth $45.

What Do I Think About GoldVoice?

I like the fact that there are alternative ways to connect to the Golos blockchain. I don't know if I 100% trust it. My Golos account isn't worth much so I was willing to risk it.

Ultimately I felt like it was hard to understand how to post and make the content look decent. It didn't seem to like it when I threw HTML into the editor.

Conclusion

It is funny how in my mind I keep thinking there has to be some other ecosystem out there where a person can earn like they can on Steemit and to be honest it is real tough to find anything that will pay you more than a few pennies here and there. That is really the state of Golos right now.

Deep down I want to be famous in Russia and have beautiful Russian women after me. lol I guess we will have to wait for a platform that can pay us like the STEEM blockchain. Purhaps ONO which will run on EOS will be able to pay decent once the International version launches.

The holly grail will be a day when we have 5 or 6 of these platforms to put our content on that are blockchain driven where we can earn from all of them. I think that day will finally get here hopefully this year.

Yeah I won't forget! lol. I don't trust it 100% because I had to use my Golos Posting Key but my account is worth $45 over there so I wasn't too tripped out about it.

I'll take a look, see what it's like.
