Dwayne Presley is now being called a hero for rescuing a 3 year-old being attacked by a dog.
According to reports the young boy had fallen from a window into a dog pen where he was attacked. They say the dog favored a pit bull, but no one has confirmed the type of dog as of yet.
Dwayne Presley heard a strange sound coming from outside so he and his friend went to check on the ruckus and what they encountered was completely horrifying.
He realized the young boy had been completely mauled and had suffered severe facial injuries.
“After I really looked at him, the child, it was like, ‘Oh no, please Lord, no, no, no, nu-uh,’ ” he told KBAK. “It was a bloody mess. It was a bloody mess.”
Even though he suffered very serious injuries he is expected to overcome it.
Child services did get involved from the mishap. According to reports the mother was sleeping throughout the attack and had an 8 month old in the home as well.
