WHY GOOD THINGS HAPPEN TO BAD PEOPLE

Many of us if not all of us at one point or the other have come to that point where we feel we deserved better than the other person and we ask questions like “why does everything seem rosy with this bad guy/girl? Why do they seem to prosper in their wickedness?” And the lists of questions go on and on…

Digressing a little, let me make a point clear here. There’s no normalcy in life and nothing in life is a mere coincidence. One of the wonders of creation is the fertility of life. What do I mean? There is no barren action in life. Every action is a seed that eventually produces a fruit. And depending on the degree to which the action was nurtured, some go on to become a tree bearing other fruits thus at variance with Sir Isaac Newton’s third law of motion which states that “for every action, there an equal and opposite reaction”. Many a time, the degree to which an action was nurtured makes it possible for the law of equality to be bypassed. Hence, we hear, see and even experience cases where we reap more than we sowed even to the point of a hundred-fold, be it a bad or good seed.

So, there are a few reasons why good things still happen to bad people but for the want of the message I want to convey, I’ll just stick to two. My earlier digression was necessary to establish the fact that whenever you see good things happen to bad people; it could be as a result of good seeds sown by the person in the time past whether directly or indirectly.

Another reason good things still happen to bad people is just God’s way of saying “I don’t have any personal problem with you. All I want is a change of action”. He sees the end from the beginning and wants even bad people to take hold of that beautiful end. That beautiful end He has in mind for you starts by wholeheartedly receiving the BEST gift ever given to mankind.

Should this knowledge that good things could still happen to bad people make you complacent with the status quo? By all means NO!
