Fear is the enemy.
It is the worst thing that can happen to you, that is what we have been told and grew up with.
From taking new adventures, to starting a new job or anything. Fear is the villain. It is the reason for failure, reason why people are not successful.
But have you ever thought, "What if fear is Good and not Bad ?
Is Fear Good ?
Not all fears are rational, but all fears are neutral, how we handle them makes it good or bad.
Fear could be our best friend, instead of just a hurdle we have to overcome every time we want to be successful. It has the power to take your mindset on what is most important, get you ready for challenges ahead and make you aware of oblivious events. Yes, it can be a hazard, just as pain can be harmful, but that doesn't mean I will remove the pain while my hand is still on fire.

FEARING THE RIGHT THINGS
Don't you feel we waste alot of energy fearing the wrong things ?
Being afraid of airplane while you riding a bike is more harmful. Fearing to fail wven when you have nothing to lose. Having phobias and worried, forgetting the risk we take each day to be happy.
It's ok that you can't have a complete control over fear but you can use your imagination each day to point out some worries and ignore them.
UNDERSTANDING THE FEAR
The basic way we were thought to overcome fear is to write out the worst case scenario. After glancing at them, and realising it's not really bad. Those fears will look ridiculous, this process also shows in some cases that fear could have a degree of Truth and Ridiculousness. And also points out that most fears have no basis in reality.

In as much as sadness or anger can be put to usefulness, the former makes you solidify to fight relationships and mend losse, while the later prevents you from being cheated on bullied.
Although depression and anger are never useful.
Having some shakes before making a speech is Good, and it forces you to prepare and concentrate better, but not being able to control that fear and ever speak is bad.
USING THE FEAR
At the end, Fear is just a way of motivation. It's not as good as enthusiasm, but it pushes you to be proactive and to take actions on some things, while avoiding others just like motivation.
What matters with motivation is what you apply it to, that's the same thing with fear.
